New to the Dingmans Ferry area and my family and I really enjoyed the service and atmosphere of this place. Looking forward to many more dinners here.

Went here for wing night and wasn't too crazy about it. The wings were cheap and decent for the price. However, it is always crowded and there isn't enough parking, so I had to park on the side where my car then got hit by another and pushed into a ditch. The food took FOREVER to come out as well. The waiter was sweet (about 17). But the 2 teen girls at the desk were rude and could care less. They need to remember they have their jobs because of customers. The first time we went there they told us to wait rudely and when we asked how long, they rolled their eyes and said they don't know to just wait for them. They then said it'd be 2 hours to pick up a pizza. 2 hours seriously?! I overall don't recommend this place.

I agree with previous negative reviews. I recently went there and ordered 3 cannolli's. I was appalled and disgusted when the waitress picked each one with her bare hands and put them in a bag and thought nothing about it. Needless to say I told the Mgr. and he said it wouldn't happen again. WTH !. WALKED OUT. Food is disgusting.

Went here for wing night, the wings are over cooked and take forever to come out, they also have a minimum order of 6 wings in a flavor and cost .25 each. But beware, as you are checking out after your long waits, terrible service, and over cooked wings, they will suprise you with any wings you didn't eat are .45 not .25. Have tried this place 3 times and nothing has changed so we won't be back.

Food is decent but the service is terrible. Wait times are always long and they continue to make mistakes with orders. Order sausage peppers and onions and ask specifically for sauce and cheese and the sub has no sauce and cheese. Call to complain and they argue with you. Avoid this place.

I love the pizza @pies on!! Beats those other places... oh yeah they have a beautiful, clean and spacious dining area and extra spicy buffalo garlic knots sometimes..yummy. wing night is a blast too said little brother. I also ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the broccoli raab entree. Yummo!!

Very mediocre Italian food for great prices. That's what you get for Dingmans Ferry! Every time I go though it seems we have to remind our server about a dish we ordered-I got a panini while my dad waited 15 minutes for his cheesesteak-we're like "something's not right here..." Also, they moved about a half mile north on route 739 to the large white house-looking building that used to be a medical center. It's much bigger now and they're planning on expanding to open a dining room upstairs.

I never went here because of the review but one night I just turned in and decided to give the place a try. Well! The pizza (take out) was pretty damn good, as a matter of fact, it's the best in the area. So I decided to go with a friend and have dinner one night. That was my mistake. The pizza is good but the dinners were inedible. The fish was just dripping with oil, the vegetables were not only canned but flavorless and soggy as well. The French fries were also soggy and I doubt these were real potatoes - they seemed like they were frozen solid and thawed one too many times. So... go for pizza, do not go for a dinner though. Oh, and the bathroom was pretty disgusting too and I learned a long time ago that if the bathrooms are filthy the kitchen can't be much better.

We ordered two pies, tonight. One plain cheese, and one half mushroom/ and olives. We were surprised at how many more toppings were on the pizza. We have been here in the past and it's usually nothing special. I'm assuming it just depends on who's cooking.

hit or miss. depends on who is cooking. SLOOOOOOOW SERVICE! order a pie for take out? they will tell you 45min, show up in 75min or wait. its a gamble. many times the bbq chicken pizzas are awesome, sometimes you get totally fucked.. they used to put fresh garlic on the bbq chicken pies too but since stopped making the pies much less special. same for the stromboli.. 1 time your order, its huge! takes up the whole pizza box, the next time you get fucked again and its tiny.. if they get more consistent and pump a lil more love and quality in these guy would be awesome.

Every single time my husband died to pick up food here the waitresses are rude. If call up and order food they are rude. They messed up our order which they said would be ready in 35 min which turned into hour n a half. Ordered a penne slice and they made a whole pie! My husband was not pleased. They put me on hold four times between telling the girl what I wanted. The chicken in the fettucini Alfredo was can quality I couldn't choke it down. Fries were soggy etc etc just horrible all around. Want good food go to authers ! Seriously get new waitresses.

I've had their pizza many times and it is easily some of the best around and they don't skimp on the size of it either. Another local pizzeria charges more for a smaller less tasty pizza.

After a horrible start to dinner at Failte in which we decided to leave we arrived here. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Parm trio. The owner and our waitress Christine we're welcoming and made our experience a memorable one. We will be sure to come again and recommend to everyone we know!

Not even close to being good Italian food. Just moved to the area from Long Island and after eating at Pie's not so On, my family is rethinking our move. I really don't understand why this place is even open. I understand we are not in NY anymore but this food is horrible.

the food was gross, the split pea soup was burnt, alfredo sauce was rotten my son took 2 bites told them the waitress wrapped it up to go and charged me. ( i was not happy). they serve grill cheese for kids with no bread has to be on a roll. the chicken sorrento was good minus the sauce. the sauce has hot pepper flakes in it and it just was nasty. i don't think i am going back.

Food's OK. It's extremely pricey. I enjoy the garlic parmesan fries and my wife and I are fans of their bacon-and-pepperoni pizza, but we'd much prefer Good Times and Joey's Pizza to Pie's On.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
